Dr. West's philosophy is that the body has a natural ability to heal itself but sometimes it needs a little help. To do this, Dr. West uses diet, nutrition, herbs, and when appropriate pharmaceuticals to move the body toward wellness. The overall goal is to treat the person and not the disease. He spends adequate time to get to know his patients and their individual concerns.

Dr. West is a licensed primary care physician in the state of Oregon. He holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology with a minor in Nutrition. He received a Doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. He completed a one year family practice residency specializing in diabetes, cardiovascular disease, geriatrics, men’s health, and physical medicine.
